I am on a 500mb/500mb fiber connection (They have almost the same connection as well), but there are limits. Can't fight, can't move etc without being teleported back and forth due to the horrible latency for the majority of the time played. Me and a bunch of friends (All from Europe) decided to give it a go, regardless, but most of us ended up giving up on it due to the massive latency issues. It'll provide you with false numbers as the player base in its entirety is pooled into one regional server. If you want valuable feedback and such from the entire player base, you need to set up beta servers in the regions that you are releasing the game in, because having people from two different regions won't help you stress test your hardware. You cannot release a beta for a game for two different regions, and expect to get proper feedback when one region has to play on a server located in the other region that only gives them massive latency issues. Take it from someone with over 20 years of alpha/beta (both paid and unpaid) testing experience. (10:00AM PST): We had brief downtime as we applied a server fix. We should be back up and running by 1:00 PM PST. (11:50AM PST): The servers will be brought down in about 10 minutes for a 1-hour maintenance. (6:45PM PST): We are aware of some server instability and are investigating the problem. (Technically speaking, we have identified and are resolving a server issue that should mean a better experience for everyone!) This quick maintenance is scheduled for One Hour but we hope that it will take less time than that. (10:15AM PST): We will be applying a patch to the servers to address the occasional wonkiness Players may have experienced in the past few days. In order to keep you up-to-date with the current status of the servers, we've created a thread where we will keep the top post updated with the current server status (as well as will monitor for any reports coming in from you guys about having trouble connecting).
